Hi all! As promised last weekend, I’m ‘popping’ back with some of this year’s poppy shots. Last summer I added the Lensbaby Control Freak<\/a> lens to my gear bag and enjoyed using it this season with these delicate beauties.\u00a0 This selective focus lens adds such softness to macro floral shots.<\/p>\n

Lensbabies are a bit more persnickety with portraiture, as getting sharp sharp focus is more difficult than with a normal auto focus lens and the distorted blurs can sometimes make a person look pretty wonky! But when I keep the blur level to a lesser intensity with portraits, the results can be fantastic.<\/p>\n
