Hi all! Back to highlight another Creative Team member, Melinda Ver Meer<\/a>. As a professional photographer she skillfully draws the eye to her stunning portraits, using our products as icing on the cake (we won’t discuss the fact that she’s a Nikon gal!). Since we only live about four hours apart, we’ve been able to collaborate on some photography shoots together too. \ud83d\ude42

My husband and I have a bustling home in northwestern Iowa, where our five children ages 6-17 keep us young (and make us old!). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What are your favorite hobbies…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Photography, scrapbooking, and shopping are some of my favorite things to do!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What do you like most about digital scrapbooking?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Not dealing with the mess of supplies needed for paper scrapping. I love that I can take a break from a layout and pick up right where I left off without putting away\/taking out a thing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What type of camera do you use?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nikon D300<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I am a junior high\/high school special education teacher and wedding\/portrait photographer.

What is your f<\/span>avorite type of digital scrapbooking product?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I love flourishes and grungy elements as they are great accents for portraiture.
\n <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Trying to add more depth to my layouts with elements and shadows is something I’m always working on.
