    Max and the Mean Man

Photo 1: If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a sunny Saturday morning. It seems every time we have one, this huge man hauls me out to the deck, puts a towel on his lap, and commences to rip out my gorgeous, fluffy hair.
Photo 2: The giant and I have played this game for 18 years. He says he has to rip out my hair, because I don't groom myself. I say, I'm trying to grow dreadlocks, you nincompoop, but you keep yanking them out! I glare at him.
Photo 3: I have some weapons in my arsenal to get the brute to leave me alone. Sometimes I stick my back claws into his leg. Other times I sink one of my big teeth into his arm. I will show him a tooth and scare him!
Photo 4: Sometimes I just scream. That makes him mad. I love it when that happens. Mwaa-ha-ha. Hold your ears; I'm going to do my fierce scream now!
Photo 5: Panic! Why is nothing working? I know; I will look crazed! He will think I have rabies and put me back inside the house!! . . . Didn't work. He laughed and said my face looks deformed.
Photo 6 (bottom R): I give up; it is too late. He has killed me.

Note: To make the background paper, I did the following, starting with the bottom layer:
    * Bottom is a green color fill.
    * On top of the green I put paper 3 from Natural 14. The blending mode is Overlay, and the opacity is set at 56%.
    * On top of those two I put paper 9 from Musical Memories. Blending mode = Overlay; Opacity = 32%.
    * On the top left corner I added Plume 2 from Floral Pansy Plumes. Blending mode = Overlay; opacity = 100%.
    * I copied that corner plume, flipped it upside down, reduced it, and put it in the lower left corner. Blending mode = Overlay; opacity = 85%.
