    Great Grandma's Cookies

This is a treasured cookie recipe that has been enjoyed by so many of my family. I remembered this being a recipe that my Great Aunt made and I excitedly called my mom asking for a picture of her to go with my page. I couldn't have been happier when I found out the recipe went back another generation.

This layout was created using the Homemade Goodness Page Pak and Everday 2 Paper Pak. I liked the worn look of the Everday 2 papers, so I used them as a clipping mask and then changed the blending mode of my Homemade Goodness papers so you could see the texture detail underneath. I had to try out several different modes to find one that works with the individual page/color combination.

Font - FG Cheryl. Here, as in my last post, I used a pattern overlay to create a more authentic looking coloring.

Thanks, Michelle, for such a gorgeous pak. I can't wait to share a copy of this with my Grandma. I'm sure she'll enjoy seeing her mom's recipe taking hold in another new generation Smile
