Learning requires the ability to follow with
grace, to honor our limits, as well as celebrate
and fulfill our talents and to accept support in
our endeavors. Our ability to inspire and impart
our dreams to ourselves and others rests on our
willingness to learn and grow in all aspects of
life.
In one way or another, we are all learning to
refine, develop and expand our life skills, with
its pains and joys. Any learning experience
requires a great deal of patience and stability
for the dream to remain alive and dynamic and
the learning process to take hold.
For me, learning
digital
scrapbooking was
scary at first,
as I was very
much a newbie
and novice using
technology. But,
I plugged along,
asked lots of
questions, and
tried (operative
word is tried)
to be patient
with myself when
I didn't learn a
technique as
fast as I
thought I should
have. I guess I
can look at my
journey in the
past two years
and be pretty
pleased with my
progress. So
much more I want
to learn,
though!
Following are some questions you might ponder to
gain insight into your own learning terrain.
Take note of areas that you might like to
expand or develop during your learning
experience. This
will help you navigate successfully
the choppy waters of new endeavors and achieve
crucial flexibility and balance throughout the
process.
