As school winds down, and the weather gets warmer, our minds often drift to images of lazy sun-filled days. A summer journey might take you sight-seeing and taking in new and refreshing experiences. Wherever your personal journey may take you, don't let the memories become lost. Record them during the trip! Bring a notebook or journal small enough to be portable and let the journaling be a part of your relaxing schedule.

Once you go home and start scrapping, you will be thankful for the "real" feelings that will make your layouts really reflect the emotions experienced on your vacation. Be sure to save trinkets along the way, such as a seashell, receipt, ticket, or anything that evokes memories from your adventure. They can be scanned into your computer and make fabulous accents on your vacation layouts.
